business development specialist for its newly established Ireland
office.
The Position:
The appointed Business Development Manager will be responsible for
growing sales by:
* Promoting our client**Apply on the website**;s range of building
automation solutions including BMS, audio visual, security and HVAC
solutions
* Approaching industry contacts and converting relationships into
successful sales and strategic partnerships
* Sourcing new opportunities, researching leads, establishing
relationships and closing deals with contractors, consultants and
specifiers
* Researching prospective direct clients in targeted markets, pursuing
leads and following through to successful strategic partnership
agreements
* Understanding the target markets, including industry, company,
project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to
attract clients
* Collaborating with design teams to ensure that requirements are met
* Following the latest industry developments and staying up to date on
corporate competitors
Requirements:
* A minimum of five years**Apply on the website**; experience in the
sales of building/property technology solutions, ideally BMS or
related (AV, security, IT etc)
* A track record of winning ?1million+ contracts with main
contractors, M&E consultants and end clients
* A well-developed network of relationships with specification,
architect, cost consultant and board level contacts
* Excellent organizational skills, with an emphasis on priorities and
goal setting
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and
statistical analysis software
* Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and
verbal
* Technical skills required to understand and propose products or
solutions by focusing on client requirements
* The ability to communicate information (technical and non-technical)
to staff members and customers in a clear and concise manner
